We are aiming to promote our project as far as we can to the majority of Short Stack fan’s in Australia. Our project is all to do with finding your old mags and newspapers and collecting all the articles featuring the boys and the band and mailing them to me and I am going to be turning them all into one massive magazine full of short stack. Anyone that send me articles includes their details so that I can include the in the thanks’ and participants so they are accredited with their contribution.

So I have a project that I am working on but i can’t do it all on my own…you see I am trying to collect as many magazine articles featuring Short Stack and The boys individually, I have some but I need many more because I am turning them into a book to give to the guy’s personally when they have their next concert or instore near me…

EDIT 2: So what we’ve learned after the chat was….
- Shaun’s favorite track off SITNB is Counting the Stars.
- The new album comes out later this year. It’s described as ‘It’s really cool and I think it’s a good new direction for us’.
- Question: Do you reckon you’d have another tour with the Veronicas soon? Answer: It’s not on the cards at the moment but anythings possible. They were cool, they can support us this time!
- Shaun changed ‘We Break Dance, Not Hearts’ into ‘Thick as Thieves’ because he was bored of that name and some clothing brand has that name already.
- Question: How has fame affected your life? Answer: I get a lot more free stuff! It has affected positively and negatively but the best thing is to know your inspiring people but negatively sometimes you want time to yourself.
- Shaun’s idol is ‘Tom DeLonge’ from Blink-182. ‘He’s the reason I played guitar… I wanted to be in Blink 182 when I was younger ‘
- SHAUN LOVES SEA MONKEYS!!!!
- Bradie hasn’t told yet on Andy eating his parents icecream.
- Shaun’s favorite crowd to perform at is Festival Hall, Melbourne. ‘I think Festival Hall in Melbourne, but every show is the best. They all blow me away.’
- Question: What’s the name of the new album? Answer: I can’t tell you. It’s going to be a surprise.
- If Shaun was a chick his name would be ‘Shaunina’.
- Question: If you could change one thing about each other what would it be? Answer: I think other the boys are much better looking than I am. I think they are perfect in every way. Bradie said he’d change the lead singer! Booo.
- Question: Whats the craziest thing a fan has ever done for you? Answer: I got a guitar once, that’s probably the craziest thing. That was awesome.
- It’s the 5th year Short Stack have been together.
- Question: What was the hardest song to write on Stack Is The New Black? Answer: That would probably be Ladies and Gentleman… It was a very brand new sound and it worked in our favour.
- Question: What are you future plans after the release of your next album? And will you be touring again for the album? Answer: Not quite sure what’s going to happen… depending on how well it goes it might be our last album! A lot of fans are going to like it but for many it might not be their cup of tea.
- Bradie is getting a Tattoo in the upcoming weeks.
- The Back of My Head was written about the Book called ‘The Great Gatsby’.
- ‘Would be when we released Shimmy and we were in the car and it was the number one requested song on the radio. That was pretty special.’ Most Memorable Moment.
- Question: Are you doing any Meet and Greets for the new album? Answer: Yea we will be and we will be doing some big in-store tours so hopefully we can meet all you guys, and tell us why you all hate it :P
- Most of the answers were answered by Shaun :)

2010 yeh….. we hit the road again with our 1st ever tour off Nth Qld in march & then extra dates Black Tour in april for our debut no 1 album ‘Stack is the new black’

In the the studio recording our second album and we’re super excited. Songs are sounding great.

Anyways just a quick email to tell you bout our massive 2010 tour coming up march and april, all the dates are up on our myspace www.myspace.com/shortstackband & www.stackisthenewblacktour2010.com.au.

So not only will this be the last time we play all the songs from our album “Stack is the new black” EVER, but it will be the first time EVER that we debut songs from our new album we’re recording right now on the 2010 tour and if you are coming to the Opera House show we’re gonna debut a whole bunch of them OMG that is amazing.

So you best be getting your kicks on and join us for a dance or two.
